Just a quick reminder that, as from yesterday 1st September, the Blue Zone parking areas on the Almuñécar/La Herradura seafronts are no longer in operation. Returning these areas to free parking. Obviously, the town centre Blue Zones remain, as always.

Why the reminder? Well, they always seem to leave the machines operative, thus confusing visitors and sometimes residents alike. If you are not sure, just have a look at the front panel of the machine which gives all the times and dates.

If one were a cynical, old and rather portly ‘journalist’ with a dodgy beard, one might think they leave the payment machines operative just to scrape every last cent from the unwary. But of course, that’s a ridiculous thought!
