A swimmer from Malaga, Alejandro Castaño Chacón, of the Fuengirola Swimming Club won the XIX La Herradura Across the Bay Swim in the incredible time of 27 minutes and 48 seconds, and not a jellyfish in sight!

La Herradura Kayak Rescue

The Guardia Civil Maritime Rescue Service was called into action yesterday, just off La Herradura, when a young woman of 23 years found herself in all sorts of trouble with her kayak.

Deceased Englishman Found

The body of an Englishman was discovered this morning in a premises in La Herradura. The Almuñécar Policía Local were contacted by worried neighbours, who hadn’t seen him for about a week.
