Salobreña’s Living Dead

SAL Last Zombie DayDon’t forget that today is the Last Zombie Day in Salobreña, if you’re in to that sort of thing.

It starts at 23.00h tonight turning the streets of Salobreña into a carnival of carnage – so be prepared to meet frolicking groups of people that look like they have overdosed on their mum’s make up.

LZD (Last Zombie Day) events are becoming popular all over place, so Salobreña is not alone in this craze. A total of 30 towns in Spain will be doing the same thing with an estimated 20,000 participants.

Now, you might be dead, missing parts of your body, and crazed by a thirst for brains, but you can’t drink alcohol in the streets, otherwise you’re liable to get fined – and it won’t help trying to munch on a municipal policeman.

Anyway, you can read this previous article that we posted that has more details on how to participate.
