Performing will be the band Kassia, the singer Rocío González and the municipal brass band from Montefrio – not sure which of the three entities will be throwing burning amps into the crowd or playing the xylophone behind their head with their teeth, but it is certainly an interesting mixture of music and for a very good cause.
The event has been organised by Elizabeth Ferrer (owner of the chiringuito) and the lead singer from Kassia, Fernando Hernández. The Town Hall is providing the stage, lighting and sound systems.
All told 55 musicians will be participating in the concert, which will begin around 23.00h.
Now, the concert is free but what they are asking you to bring along as a donation are blankets for single beds, as well as towels and bedspreads – basically, bedding, for this coming winter.
So, there you have it: live music, beach, moon, romance with plenty of blankets to hand – just saying!
