This summer La Herradura will see the opening of it new hotel; Hotel Boutique Peña Parda Bay, right in front of the beach in the area known by the same name; Peña Parda.

The hotel, which is being financed by Caja Rural, has used the original concrete structure of Hostal Peña Parda; i.e., the pillars and floors, but at the same time strengthening them.

The inside, however, has a new layout with a total of 18 rooms distributed on two floors. The restaurant etc is on the ground floor. The total built area is 1,000 sq/m.

All the rooms have ensuite bathrooms, aircon and the rest of the requirements for a hotel of a ‘hotel-boutique’ category.

The hotel has ample parking, which is very important as all Herradureños know

The developers behind the project (budgeted at 3-m euros) are the same company as the one behind La Caleta Bay, at the other end of La Herradura Bay.

The Mayor, who is a happy bunny over this, congratulated the company on their local investment, relecting as it does the developer’s belief in the future of the village.
