Almuñécar will hold a medieval fair entitled, Zoco Medieval de las Culturas during the Constitution Bank Holiday (December 3rd to 9th).
The fair will be set up on the top of the Paseo del Altillo, as in previous years.
Local businesses, handicrafts-persons and lunatics are being encouraged to take part with the only requisite that they wear ‘medieval costumes,’ the Councillor for Institutional Relations, María del Mar Medina, explained.
If previous years are anything to go by then we can expect around 50 stalls, selling everything from homemade soaps to handcrafted wooden toys and from puppets to aloe-vera creams.
As for attractions, we can expect falcons, ponies, archery and at least one hypothermia-beset belly-dancer…
So there you have it: Almuñécar, Paseo del Altillo, from the Saturday the 3rd to Tuesday the 6th of December, between 11.00h to 23.00h with a break at midday. Bring your own belly dancer, just in case.
