According to the First Councillor for the village, Juan José Ruiz Joya, the San Jose Fiestas, lasting from Thursday the 17th to Sunday the 20th, went well.

He praised the “high participation” of visitors and locals alike at all the official acts during the fiestas: the religious procession, the flower offering, the Feria de Día, the firework displays, etc.

For this reason he expressed his gratitude to visitors and locals, the municipal police, the fire department and proteccion civil for all playing their part in making the fiestas a success.

He had a special mention for the Maintenance Department whose workers work wonders at getting the village ready, despite the small size of the department.

He also highlighted the efforts of FCC; the street-cleaning company for a job well done.

Lastly, he thanked the locals for putting up with the necessary changes, such as changes to street traffic, as well as not complaining about the increased noise level produced by the musical performances and bars.
