The Motril Port police have arrested a Dutchman after more than 18 kilos of hashish were found behind the false sides in his car boot.

The arrested 71-year-old man had just disembarked from the Melilla ferry (Volcán de Tinamar) and his car subjected to a search with a sniffer dog.

The drugs had been divided between 182 packets, weighing around 100g each.

There was nobody else travelling with him.
