The Almuñécar Policía Local confiscated 185 kilos of fruit and vegetables on Sunday the 31st during Rastrillo Solidario (flea market).

The police also charged the two people who had been selling this produce, as at the Sunday Market you can only sell ‘second-hand and artisan goods.’

The municipal police helped a young woman in Edificio Las Delicias on Avenida Costa del Sol, who had a deep gash to her forearm. After applying pressure and a tourniquet, they gingerly rushed her off to the medical centre. From there, after receiving emergency treatment, she was packed off to Motril hospital.
