The Catalán police have arrested 29 bogus gas inspectors, whilst another 14 are on the run – thought that would cheer you up!

They all stand accused of carrying out thefts in the homes of elderly victims in towns all over Cataluña.

This police operation was the result of investigations into 160 such cases during 2014.
