Best Western Hotels Salobreña was chosen as the venue for the launching of the new S.Ko Schmitz Cargobull vehicle presentation.
The hotel’s convention centre is ideal for such gatherings, bringing together business people from the international road-transport sector.
An example of the refrigerated trailers was parked in the grounds of the hotel so that visitors could look it over before continuing on to the conference hall.
Yet the hotel has space to run two conventions at the same time, with the Under-8-to-Under 18, chess championships being held there, with the event being visible, thanks to large screens in other areas of the hotel.
Nothing like a spot of free, publicity, eh, Best Western Hotels? Actually, I have a soft spot for that hotel as I spent my second night ever in Spain there, back in 1981 and used it as a mail drop for several months afterwards…
