A local resident of Carchuna noticed some suspicious packages on a beach in Carchuna, so he contacted the police.

They quickly found and gleefully confiscated 70 kilos of hashish in 1-kilo bags within two larger waterproof packages.

The police suspect that it was an aborted beach drop off, probably because the drug runners had thought that they were being observed by the police and were about to be busted (arrested).
