For those of you interested in Spanish Civil War history, then the lecture in the Salobreña municipal Library is for you.
This lecture is part of a provincial commemoration entitled: Lugares de la Memoria Histórica and deals with, amongst other topics, the Desbandada (the refugee flight along the N-340, pursued by Franco’s victorious forces).
Right, so you know the venue, so here’s the date and time: 7th of February at 18.30h.
Just one hour before, however, there will be a commemorative visit to the monolith monument that stands in homage to the victims of that sad episode, at the mouth of the Rio Guadalfeo.
