Roundabout Work Recommenced

SAL Roundabout Entrance OnLStung by the criticisms from the opposition parties, Salobreña Town Hall recommenced work on the main town entrance roundabout.

The removal of the electricity pylon took place in darkness; tricky stuff as this line feeds half the town. The now-buried line will serve the projected bus station when it is eventually built.

The Councillor for Public Works, Javier Ortega, was very visible, suitably and impressively adorned with a hardhat. He explained that the reason behind the removal of the pylon/transformer was owing to the complexity of the operation, which was carried out according to the protocol established by Sevillana-Endesa.

Meanwhile, with the bank holiday in full swing, the bereft roundabout sports the brick layout for a centre feature.
