The Constitution bank-holiday weekend (6th to the 9th) saw the Paseo del Altillo covered with medieval stalls. This is the third year that the Zoco Medieval has been held in Almuñécar.

The event, which was organized jointly by the Town Hall and the Rastrillo de Culturas, featured stalls selling incense, natural soaps, custom silver jewellery, games, fortune telling using tarot cards, wooden toys – you name it.

The Mercado Medieval de las Culturas de Almuñécar was graced by the presence of the Mayor, Trinidad Herrera, on the Saturday.
