Motril’s Aeronautical Exhibition

The Motril Councillor for Culture, Elena Vallejo, announced that she was pleased by the number of visitors that have seen the Motril del Altos Vuelos exhibition. Over a thousand people have been to see this aircraft model exhibition at the Museo de Historia de la Ciudad.

This exhibition, which has over 200 pieces, including military uniforms, parts of real aeroplanes and helicopters, began at the beginning of June and was due to close down at the end of last month but the organizers have decided to let it run for one more week; i.e., next week, so you still have a chance!

Each of the exhibits represents a different stage in the development in the history of aviation, including the model aircraft, many of which are from the Second World War, belonging to just about every participating nation.

There’s even a space within the exhibition where you can see how some of these perfectly scaled models have been made.

So, you have from now until Saturday the 13th to visit the exhibition (accept Monday and Sunday when the museum is closed) from 10:00h to 13:00h and 18:00h to 21:00h.
