The bodies of two men, an elderly father and his middle aged son with a severe handicap, were found in a cemetery in Sant Andreu, Barcelona with gunshot wounds.

It was around 11.30h that the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan regional police) found the bodies, after a telephone tip off. All indications are that the 74-year-old father felt that he was unable to cope and decided to end his son’s life and then his own.

The bodies were found on the tomb of the mother, who had died the week before.
