The First Councillor for La Herradura, has confirmed that the Town Hall and the owners of the Hotel El Fuerte plot in the village have reached an agreement to free up this large area of open land for summer parking.

Reconditioning work; i.e., the clearing out of all the undergrowth, will commence tomorrow, (Wednesday) resulting in the parking area, which will have room for a few dozen cars, will be operative this coming weekend.

“This accord will provide parking for several dozen vehicles, which normally clog up the Peña Parda area. During recent summer periods, cars parked there have blocked access from Urbanización Las Palomas to the beach and vice versa,” said the councillor.
