Lanjarón Lowers Taxes

The Lanjarón Town Hall has decided to lower taxes for the business sector and anybody who creates employment. According to the Mayor, Eric Escobedo, this will affect taxes on ‘occupation of public way’, i.e. bar and restaurant terraces, for example.

Furthermore, municipal taxes that are normally levied on hotels, even when they are closed for the season, will be dropped, meaning that they will not have to pay for rubbish collection, etc.

If you have a business and create employment, then you will have a 50% cut to your IBI, as long as the worker’s contract lasts more than six months.

But it doesn’t stop there, because the municipal tax on vehicles will be reduced for commercial ones… Now doesn’t that all make bloody good sense!

The big question is, is anybody listening down here on the coast?
