The Guardia Civil arrested a 33-year-old man from the said town for allegedly ‘domestic violence’ and possessing a firearm without a valid licence.

The GC patrol was called out from Órgiva to a cortijo in the Torvizcón municipality by the woman. When the Green Meanies got there it was to find the woman sporting bruises on her arms and legs – allegedly fruit of the kicks and blows received – and a shotgun… with not a whiff of a firearms licence in sight.
