Whilst Collado is bemoaning a lack of electricity, Soportújar has been without drinking water or irrigation water, thanks to the rain, ironically enough. The heavy rainfall has undermined and done away with the pipework, as well as washing away embankments and country tracks. The affected areas are the Barranco Caliente, El Mirador Tres de Abril and El Pocilla, which were all brought into being during last year.
The Mayor, José Antonio Martín, considers it a pity, seeing as these three areas were inaugurated less than a year ago, after much effort.
