It was a pleasure visiting Wim and Carla Van Helden at their beautiful and inviting restaurant Rincón de Velilla just before Christmas. I was very impressed with their extensive menu and, browsing through it, it is no wonder that this restaurant has a reputation for excellent cuisine – and at incredibly reasonable prices!
Enjoy the menu of the day, consisting of three courses + drink for only 9 € (incl. IVA) and don’t forget Happy Hour every day from 19:00-20:00, when you can buy a drink and get one free!
All the food is freshly prepared by Italian chef, Alex and, believe me, looking at their tantalizing menu is enough you make you salivate. There is something for everyone such as Argentinean entrecote, Iberian lean pork, lamb shoulder, duck, paella, grilled pork or lamb chops, roasted spare-ribs, Italian pasta, risotto, grilled chicken breast and a vast selection of soups and salads.
