
The old town in Salobreña, you might have noticed, is sprouting workmen, hardhats and ditches – much of the underground infrastructure is getting overhauled.
Road works are due to begin on the 6th of November in Salobreña, affecting the main streets in the old town.
Work on Calle Bonifacio Caro, which is the main access road to the village, has begun, widening it and replacing the underground infrastructure, too.
With the elections done and dusted, work has just commenced on Calle Fragata in the La Herradura quarter of Rambla del Espinar.
By sheer coincidence, the eternal roadworks in Almuñécar on Puerta del Mar werecompleted… just before the municipal elections!
Now it’s Calle Arcos del Ingenio‘s turn in Almuñécar’s San Sebastian to have its ‘plumbing’ sorted out. Calle Arcos runs a total of 134 metres and joins Calle Chirimoya to Calle Trapiche.
Calle Ingenio Real, Calle Azúcar and Pasaje San José in San Sebastian, Almuñécar, are being dug up to lay pipe-work infrastructure.
