There will be some roadworks up in the old town of Salobreña, commencing in the first quarter of next year.

The area affected will be Calles Rosario, Juan XXIII and Ladera de la Cruz, where the water mains and sewage systems will be updated.

The work will be carried out by the water company, Aguas y Servicios, according to the Chairman of the Mancomunidad, Sergio García Alabarce.

The work has a budget of 1,500,000 euros and is scheduled to take nine months – the three streets will be worked on consecutively rather than at the same time; hence the extensive project execution time.
