What a month! Between sorting out the Irish economy (you will take the money, you economic illiterates) and sending the Kim Jong dynasty to the naughty step for causing another nasty mess in Korea, one has been extremely busy. Elections Looming

Oh, goody, another segue. You can tell that elections are looming large in the minds of all our worthy local leaders. We’re not yet at the stage where those annoying cars with Tannoy speakers are cruising the town, disturbing one’s lunch, but the positioning has definitely started

Apparently, there should have been a demolition order enforced, which somehow fell through the cracks.

Rumble at the Rastro II

Well, it’s quite different from the last one, I just like to write that! There’s been a kerfuffle in the Town Hall, wherein Sra. Maria Eugenia Rufino, leader of the opposition PSOE accused the Mayor, his party and the councillor in charge of these things, Sr. Gustavo Aybar of stealing the whole idea from her…

Eco Rastro, Salobreña

The last Eco Rastro was held on the same day as the local Trade Fair, sponsored by ACESA (Asociación de Comerciantes y Empresarios de Salobreña), just across the road.

Swarthy Visitor

Imagine, if you will, another lovely, sunny day in the sleepy hamlet of Molvízar, 8.00am, and there you are in your neat little townhouse on a quiet back street…
