Supermum and regular contributor Vanessa has been snatched from her Salotril post to focus on rather more important, behind-the-scenes, Gazette work, and left me here to deliver you your monthly news fix. In response to recent criticism that the district of Lobres does not have a sufficient sports program, the Area Commissioner, Isabel Correa, offered a detailed list of all the activities currently on offer throughout the area. She claimed that accusations made by the secretary for the PSOE, Arsenio González, were misinformed.
Education for workers

The Town Hall and Education! The Council of Salobreña has extended the range of FPO courses on offer to workers and young people of the town. They are also extending the successful range of online tutorials that began several months ago as part of the continuing educational program.
