Salobreña Cemetery Scandal

The Public Prosecutor for Granada is recommending 5-year, 6-month jail sentence for a town-hall assistant clerk in dealings with the municipal cemetery. He also recommends the same quantity of time being barred from holding public employment and a 7,560-euro fine.

Natural Gas for Salobreña

The Mayor, Gonzalo Fernández Pulido and a representative from the Gas Natural, Francisco Torres, are looking into connecting the town up. The regional distribution for Gas Natural already has a network of municipalities across Andalucia.

Salobreña Fire

According to a report from Radio Salobreña, the Restaurante EL Asador was severely damaged by a fire early yesterday afternoon (Sunday 20th).
