This related story occurred in Jaén and involves a 38-year-old Spanish mother, whose dead baby was found in a wardrobe. She is now recovering in hospital from the rigors of having given birth.

Mooning the Green Meanies

A court in Jaén has sentenced a man to a 6-month, suspended sentence for mooning two Guardia Civil policemen and then resisting arrest. Mooning, for those of you whose first language is not English, means to take your trousers down and display your buttocks in the direction of somebody. A classic example is that scene in the Braveheart film.

Kindergarten Hiccup

It was half nine in the morning and the kindergarten had just closed its doors and there was a girl of about one, sitting in a pushchair in a corridor, unattended. The teacher wondered whose child it could be and supposed that the mother had left her there a moment to speak with another teacher.
