OK, so the La Herradura village fiesta starts today and here is the programme
Today: The festivities begin with the “Virana” children’s writing contest, exhibitions, the traditional corrida de cintas (ribbon race), a floral offering, and Mass.

The day concludes with the switching on of the fairground lights and a pyro-musical fireworks display.
Thursday the 19th (Patron saint’s day): The big day’ features a noon church service, followed by a concert by the Municipal Band.
At 20:00h, there will be a solemn procession of San José which will wind its way through the streets of La Herradura.
As far as entertainment goes, the lineup includes a major concert by Gipsy Kings by André Reyes. This is not the orginal Gypsy Kings. André Reyes performs with his own band, under the name Gipsy Kings by André Reyes. The group consists of André and a number of his relatives, including his son Thomas, nephews Kakou and Tambo, brother Patchaï, and first cousin Mario, as well as four backing musicians.
Sunday the 22nd: The fiesta wrap up with Children’s Day, featuring family-oriented recreational activities.
