Blue Zone Ends

Just a quick reminder that, as from yesterday 1st September, the Blue Zone parking areas on the Almuñécar/La Herradura seafronts are no longer in operation.

El Gallinero was always a La Herradura favourite and under the fresh guidance of Rafael and Amanda with a few new ideas and lots of enthusiasm, it will surely continue as such.

Spain Classic Raid

The second running of the classic car rally Spain Classic Raid reached La Herradura on Friday 21st October. The entire route that these classic vehicles take is Barcelona – Madrid – Sevilla over a week, with an overnight stop in La Herradura.

La Herradura Ambulance Need

Popular Party spokesman, Deputy Mayor and slayer of dragons, Juan Jose Ruiz Joya is determined to get La Herradura it’s own ambulance. To this end the PP will be raising the matter, very roughly, at the next plenary meeting.

Fly-Posting Crackdown

The Department of Environment is determined to crack down on the putting up of publicity on street furniture, such as lampposts and litter bins etc. This practice, commonly known as fly-posting, is getting right up the noses of
the Almuñécar Town Hall bigwigs.

Mirador Festivities

Alix and Kevin at the Mirador del Cerro Gordo are remaining open this year throughout November and December and the whole festive season, 7 days a week from 11.00am.
