The Museo de Historia will be running an exhibition from the 7th of June until the 6th of July, comprising of models made by some of the best model-aircraft builders from around the world. The Exhibition will also including a photo exhibition, all timed to coincide with the Motril Airshow on the 16th of June.

The Nerja Museum is holding an exhibition of Los Carteles de Miró comprising of 32 posters, which were commissioned by art galleries and produced by the painter between 1963 and 1985.

After a full year standing idle, the renovation works have restarted at La Herradura Castle. The work includes a dig by archaeologists from the School of Arabic Studies in Granada.

According to the Mayor of Lanjarón, Mariano Ruiz, the Museo del Agua will definitely – cross-my-heart-and-hope-to-die, sort of thing – will be open before the year is out, although he didn’t mention which year, mind.
