Spanish Politics

The local and regional elections dealt a severe blow to the Central Government; indeed to the whole of the PSOE on a national level. Although Andalucía didn’t hold regional elections, unlike the majority of Spanish autonomous regions, the damage was still keenly felt because over a thousand town halls in Andalucía, as well as provincial councils, participated and were royally smitten.

End of an Era?

Now, with the election night just under a week ago, more information has been forthcoming. For example, the defection of Daniel Barbero from the Mayor’s councillor list had catastrophic results over in La Herradura, which will be covered in that section.

Well, it’s official; Benny is running for mayor in the May local elections – which is hardly a surprise, but when we asked him during a televised interview with him, he refused to confirm that he was.

Unfulfilled Pledges
