Holiday from Hell
A young British man was stabbed twice, in the abdomen and his leg, in circumstances so far unclear. The stabbing happened near a bar in Ibiza in the wee hours of the morning, and it was the young man himself who managed to find an ambulance in the area that took him swiftly to a local private hospital. Although his condition is listed as critical, he is responding favourably to treatment.

Five Dutch youngsters have been arrested for allegedly vandalizing street accessories (benches & litter bins etc) in Motril. Locals alerted the police to say that the youths, four of whom were minors, were damaging litter bins and emptying the contents onto the paseo.

Work on 7-Star to Begin This Year

According to the building developers behind the Almunecar, 7-star-hotel project, Bahia Fenecia, despite the hold up over the licence, construction work will begin before the year is out. In fact, the problem over the licence merely put the project back by about a month, they consider.
