Another Drowning

A 71-year-old man drowned close to the Peñon on the 6th of this month, around 14.15h. According to the Guardia Civil report, it could have been provoked by stomach cramp (corte de digestion)

Lanjaron Wants a Morgue

(Lanjaron, Alpujarra) The Mayor of Lanjaron has formally requested help from the Chairman of the Provincial Council, Sebastian Perez (PP) for a municipal tanatorio (morgue). The Chairman had been visiting both Lanjaron and Carataunas, both of which have PP mayors.

Royal Visit

One of the biggest highlights for a city or town in Denmark is when members of the Royal family pay a visit. At the time of writing this article, there is only one day until HRH Crown Prince Frederik and HRH Crown Princess Mary visit the small community I am in.

Summer Break
