The Guardia Civil have arrested a man in Zubia (suburb of Granada) for allegedly hiding drugs in his ex-wife’s car and then making anonymous, phone tip-offs to the police. The reason? Reportedly, to gain custody of his son.

There appears to be a problem with the waterproofing of the Paseo del Altillo, which is letting water filter through into the bars on the lower paseo. Unfortunately, this is not a recent occurrence as since the paseo was finished in 2006, some of these businesses have been dogged by damp.

General Strike: Mixed Results

As of Midday, the strike is obtaining different results depending on the size of the town. In Almuñécar it is almost non-existent with the only sign of a general strike, apart from the occasional closed shop, is the rubbish that was not collected in the early hours of the morning.
