It’s that time of year again, so have you been serviced lately? Well, all air conditioning systems should be serviced every six months, although most people choose to have theirs serviced annually, and for domestic use this is acceptable. However, for commercial units, you really should be sticking to the 6-month rule.

Juan José Ruiz Joya, the Councillor for La Herradura, has presented a motion at a Town-Hall meeting, proposing that the Department of the Environment at the Junta de Andalucía, set in motion the actions necessary “to set about building an Information Centre in playa de Cantarriján.”

In a Roundabout Way…

First of all I saw a man arrive in Calle Real, outside my place, and erect his large instrument… he was with a young woman who proceeded to look into his instrument whilst another man stood further up the road firmly gripping his pole. What is going on I thought to myself!

Barbero Killer Sentenced

At a court in Granada, the killer of Daniel Barbero was sentenced to ten years in prison. However, he and six other defendants were acquitted of forming a drug trafficking gang.

An incident unfolded on Thursday 23rd April while Alicia, a 35-year-old local woman was working at her cleaning job in the offices of Centro Jate de La Herradura, (underneath the Municipal Market).
