There’s a new eating experience on the Avenida Andrés Segovia in La Herradura and we give a warm welcome to Le Shack. However, this is only one of their two establishments because the other is in Nerja.
French, artisan burgers is the natural evolution of Le Burger Shack and Sense – a fine burger joint where craftsmanship, culture, and comfort meet.
Le Shack elevates the everyday burger into something intentional. They focus on simplicity done properly: premium, grass-fed beef, daily baked buns, house-made sauces, and carefully sourced produce. No shortcuts. No unnecessary extras. Just balance, precision, and flavour in perfect proportion.
But Le Shack is more than what’s on the plate: Music sets the tone. The lighting is warm. The atmosphere flows effortlessly. Every detail (from the open kitchen to the well thought out playlists) is designed to create a space where you feel good the moment you walk in.
The business is the brainchild of co-owners, Daniela Yard-Young and Francois Davy.
Dani’s surname, Yard-Young, must ring a bell as she is Simon Yard-Young’s daughter, raised in La Herradura. After living and working in London, Singapore & Thailand for the past 19 years, Dani has returned home bringing with her a wealth of international experience.
The co-owner and Chef, Francois Davy, was born in Saint-Ma- lo and has hospitality in his blood, owing to his father and grandmother. Francois owned and managed his first establishment, Petit François, at the age of 20 in Jersey, Channel Islands, where he grew up. After years of travelling and living abroad (working across Africa, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East).
Francois returned to Europe bringing with him a wealth of international experience. A natural leader and visionary, he has owned and managed numerous establishments and developed a strong reputation for creating memorable dining experiences that truly satisfy the appetite.
