There was a vehicle fire last Saturday, this time a bus and on the A-92, according to the emergency coordination centre, 112.
None of the passengers, who were members of a youth, sports team on their way to a match in Jaén, were injured, although the bus will need more than a lick of paint to put back on the roads.

The emergency services received the alert at 15.05h on Saturday the 20th and by 15.15h the Guardia Civil had arrived at the scene, and closed down the lanes.
The bus driver, noticing that something was wrong with the bus, pulled over onto the hard shoulder near kilometre point 241 on the Granada-bound lanes, near the Albolote exit ramp.
As soon as the bus stopped, flames began to appear at the back end and grow. However, all the passengers had time to get off the bus.
As for the fire service, the Parque Norte de Granada was despatched to the scene around 16.00h but by then the bus had become engulfed in flames. Once the fire was out, one of the lanes was reopened.
The cause of the fire in the engine is currently unknown. The flames started in the rear of the bus and spread throughout the vehicle.
