The underground car park beneath the municipal market has finally opened, two days before the end of July.

It brings online 230 parking spaces… just days away from losing double that number when the Plaza Blas Infante is closed to make way for the summer fair.

Mayor Juan José Ruiz Joya said, “The delay because of needed permits has meant that the parking faciities hasn’t opened until today.”

As for the Municpal Market above it, it won’t be ready until Christmas this year, if there are no further delays.
