Unauthorised Use of Municipal Pool

Padul Town Hall had to issue a warning for unauthorised people not to use the municipal pool before it was reopened this summer on the 21st of June.

Groups of people had gained unauthorised access to the pool and used it although the water was far from being ready for public use owing to  the high level of chemicals in it.

So that people would take notice, the Town Council announced that anybody found inside the installations before the pool was officially opened could face a fine of 500 euros. These public installations have CCTV as well as burglar alarms.

For this reason the Mayor called for people to be responsible and wait for the opening, which went ahead as planned on the 21st of June. There is no news of anybody being caught and fined after this announcement.
