The Councillor for Health in Almuñécar, Carlos Ferrón, accompanied members of Asociacion Española Contra el Cancer during the Friday Market on a fund collection campaign.

The campaign has the double objective of hightening awarness concerning cancer and to help fund research into the illness.

The local, AECC Chairwoman, Conchi García, thanked the Councillor for the Town Hall support and also took the opportunity to express gratitude on the part of the AECC to locals and visitors for their collaboration with the charity’s goal of reaching a 70% cancer-survival rate by 2030.
