The Councillor for Cultura y Fiestas published a list of competitors participating in the Cruces de Mayo competition.

The Cruces fiesta will run from the 1st to the 4th of May, explained the said Councillor, Alberto García Gilabert.

The judges will visit each of the crosses on the 1st around 13.00h, taking into account natural decoration, floral variety, lighting, surroundings, traditional gastronomy and originality.

The winner will be announced that same day, so that those that visit the crosses will know who has won it.

Prize money consists of 500 euros for the winner, 300 euros for second place, 200 euros for third place and a consolation prize of 100 euros.

The following is list of the names of the crosses and where you can find them:

05. ⁠Oración en el Huerto – Plaza Marruecos.
06. ⁠Arte-sur – Casa de la Cultura.
07. Esperanza – Plaza de los Higuitos
08. ⁠Nazareno – Calle Vélez; 1.
09. ⁠Piedad – Calle Antigua, 7. 
10. ⁠La Corrala – Calle Antigua, 11. 
11. ⁠ ⁠⁠La Cueva – Calle Eras del Castillo
12. Virgen del Carmen – Parque El Majuelo. 
13. ⁠San Cristóbal – Plaza de San Cristóbal
