Three individuals were arrested in Motril, aged between 25 and 27, two of whom were Spanish and one Moroccan, suspected of an armed raid on a gambling hall.

The men, wearing ski masks and two of whom have criminal records, got away with 3,400 euros in booty.

The assault took place just after 23.00h on the 26th in a gambling hall within Motril, quickly overpowering the person working there. Two of the attackers went to where the estabishment had its computer and began manipulating it to generate five winning tickets with prizes of 1,000 euros each

However, they only managed to cash in three of them. The thief then ransacked the till and obtained 400 euros in cash which were the takings for the day.

The police were soon at the scene and began inspecting CCTV footage for clues and within a short time had made three arrests.
