The Guardia Civil gleefully bagged a hundred kilos of cocaine on one of Almuñécar's beaches and are now quite eager to find out who 'lost' it!
Whoever it was, they might have a spot of trouble explaining it to their boss, as they could probaby end up doing deep-sea diving with concrete boots.

But enough of this speculation and on with the facts! The drugs, which were packed into five, waterproof packages, were discovered in the early morning of Tuesday the 11th by a local out for a walk. He immediately contacted the Guardia Civil.
There was another case of a drug-running nature on a beach in December last year but on Playa La Guardia in Salobreña, where a large zodiac was found abandoned, complete with two powerful (and expensive) outboard motors. The two peope onboard had scappered as soon as it ran aground.
Going back further to March last year, it was the turn of Playa de Los Yesos (Sorvilán) where a 12-metre zodiac or RIB, complete with three outboard motors and several jerrycans of diesel, was found.
