The Councillor in Charge of Hiring & Leases, Rafael Caballero, has put the underground parking under the new municipal market up for Lease.

Councillor Caballero, who is also the Chairman of the Mancomunidad, explained that the lease period is for 30 years for 59 parking slots on the lower of two underground parking areas.

The price is 18,500 euros for 41 of the parking slots measuring 12.5 sq/m (single parking slots) and 28,500 euros for 18 double spaces measuring 22.75 sq/m. Of course, this is the starting price and those interested will have to better that price.

The municipal market, underground-parking area has a total of 230 parking slots divided between the two underground levels, the majority of which are rotational, which means that you pay by the hour to park there. These are intended for shoppers using the market or businesses close by.

The closing date for entering bids is the 6th of March, which must be placed via the leasing page on the Town Hall’s webpage.
