A man thought that it would be a good wheeze to stroll into a fire station, hop into a fire truck and see if he could drive it... He couldn't.
The result was that he moved it a handful of metres and banged into another vehicle in the motor shed.
This happened in the city of Málaga, as explained by the Councillor in charge of the Área de Seguridad del Ayuntamiento de Málaga.
The incident occurred one Tuesday towards the end of last month and around four in the afternoon within the Parque Central de Bomberos de Martiricos; or in other words, the city’s main fire station.
The other vehicle that he pranged into was a fire struck with an extending ladder to reach high windows, etc. Both vehicles were slightly damaged, but the vehicle that he collided with is undergoing testing to make sure that there is no hidden damage to its functionability, apart from the damanged swing arm.
Well, it didn’t take long for the Policía Local and Policía Nacional to turn up and give him a good tweaking… Sorry, I mean, arrest him.
