Two people have been arrested in Salobreña over the theft of a mobile and using its banking app to steal 2,000 euros.
The Guardia Civil, as part of police-operation Toza24, arrested a 56-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman as suspects behind this crime.

The alleged thieves were limited to how much they could steal by the maximum amount for transfers permitted within 24 hours.
The victim had quickly reported the loss of the phone at the Guardia Civil post in Salobreña, where they began tracing the transfer (which was made via Bizum), finding that the amount stolen had ended up in the accounts of the two suspects.
The Guardia Civil recommend using very secure passwords on mobile phones, as well as banking apps on it to avoid what happened to the victim in this incident.
