Many municipalities belonging to the Costa Tropical will receive "significant economic support," from the Junta de Andalucía for the recent cold drop (DANA).

Each one of the municipalities will receive 42,500 euros, coming from a total hand-out of the 12-million euros granted to municipalities within Granada.

The said municipalities are: Almuñécar, Los Guájares, Gualchos, Ítrabo, Motril, Otívar and Salobreña.
