Do you like beer? Is it mutual? Well, if you do and it has no adverse affects on you (apart from the obvious) then this weekend will bring you joy!
Yes, the Majuelo Botanical Gardens in Almuñécar will be the venue for the Costa Tropical Beer Festival; a must for enthusiasts for home brews and micro breweries.
Furthermore, part of the takings for the event will go towards the flood victims in Valencia, so if you ever did need an excuse to have a beer, now you’ve got one!
The Councillor for Culture, Alberto García Gilabert and Paco Alonso, who represents Cervezas Segral presented the poster before the press with the latter explaining that there will 30 varieties of beers served at the event. The Councillor, being a politician, said that festival is also about “moderation and responsibility.”
The beer fest started today at 12 midday but will last until one in the morning, so you’ve still got time to pop around there today.
If, not, then Saturday will also be from 12.00h to 01.00h the next morning and then later one on Sunday from 12.00h to 18.00h.
Being Andalucia, there will also be tapas, como Díos manda, activities for kids, live music, as well as a DJ offering canned music.
