Lack of Adequate Management?

The Partido Popular in Vélez de Benaudalla claims there is a "situation of abandonment and a lack of public cleaning" around town.

They attribute it to “A lack of action by the socialist mayor, Francisco Gutiérrez and his cabinet.” The party Spokesman, Rafael Rodríguez, considers that the Town hall only reacts when it gets a complaint from a resident and/or the opposition, and lacks preventative management for the needs of the town.”

Spokesman Rodríguez pointed out that areas like the acequia (irrigation channel) and the arquetas (inspection manholes) only receive any maintenance after his party made public the situation via social media.

The PP considers the closure of the Punto Limpio and subsequent filthy streets to be the most worrisome defects in Vélez de Benaudalla. They say that this facilitiy should be operative so that locals can leave their rubbish and broken, white goods there.
